Objectives
The primary objective of this practice-driven seminar is to enable participants to deepen their knowledge of the international financial markets, the financial instruments such as bonds, equities, repos, swaps, options and structured products. Both technical and operational aspects as well as risk considerations and the impact of regulation on day-to-day activities are covered.
Methodology
The blended methodology used in CAMFIN is based on an optimal combination of theory and practice. Theoretical aspects are based on the latest market standards, while examples, case studies and exercises are used to present and reinforce the practical application of the material.
In order to help the course attendants to refresh the required level of fundamental knowledge in financial markets and financial mathematics, two distinctive e-learning programmes will be put at their disposal about one month before the start of the online seminar.
Target audience
The programme has been designed for both front and back-office personnel having a good basic knowledge of the markets, products and financial mathematics and between 3 and 6 years of practical experience in the industry.
A good level of English is required.
Exam
The knowledge acquired in the seminar will be validated through an online examination (MCQ questionnaire of around 80 questions). The required passing rate is 50%. Successful candidates will be granted a certificate.
Technical requirements
The seminar will be organized in Webex. In order to join the course participants are requested to have:
- A stable internet connection
- A device (preferably a PC) with wellfunctioning microphone and webcam, which is mandatory to get the most from the course and to participate in the online exam.

- Elearning courses
- International Financial Markets – estimated duration: 2 hours
- Financial Mathematics – estimated duration: 8 hours
- Principal online seminar – 10 sessions of 4 hours each
- Online exam – 3 hours
