Prompt Engineering - Introduction and Practical Application in Companies

Droit

Description

Programme overview

This training enables professionals from all sectors to acquire the essential skills to formulate effective, clear, and compliant prompts for the professional use of generative AI.

The method is based on a robust 5-axis structure (Role – Task – Format – Constraints – Context) and advanced techniques (think chain, self-criticism, RAG).

Because prompt engineering is just one technical skill among many, the training also integrates the essential soft skills for effective use: critical thinking, clear writing, collaboration, and iteration.

Objectives

At the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the uses and benefits of prompt engineering

  • Identify the three levels of prompts (system/admin/user)

  • Apply the golden rules to obtain reliable and accurate responses

  • Build structured prompts based on five key areas

  • Use reusable templates adapted to generic uses (email, meeting minutes, internal messages, summaries, etc.)

  • Utilise advanced techniques: thought processes, self-criticism, RAG (Resource-Based Approach)

  • Write in compliance with GDPR and the AI Act

  • Evaluate the quality of prompts and implement a mini-governance framework
