The Fintech Certificate prepares professionals to understand, evaluate, and integrate innovation, from blockchain & big data to AI in finance.

This programme is designed for the Luxembourg financial sector, combining academic rigour from HEC Liège, a double-accredited (EQUIS & AACSB) management school, with the market expertise of the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT).

You will learn directly from top-tier faculty, industry experts, and guest lecturers from Luxembourg’s leading fintech companies, while engaging withps, investors, and potential clients.

This immersive experience fosters career development, expands your professional network, and provides a clear understanding of the forces shaping the future of financial services.

• Hands-on, Field-Oriented Learning : Opportunity to contribute to an existing project or develop your own Fintech use case.

The programme begins with an introduction to Fintech specially delivered by the LHoFT followed by two in-depth modules : 

Blockchain & Big Data (36 hours)

• Explore how blockchain and big data reshape processes in finance and beyond.

• Identify concrete use cases for tokenisation, data-driven innovation and operational efficiency.

• Acquire practical skills for effective implementation in a regulated environment.

• Connect with leading experts and innovators; learn through applied cases.

Harnessing AI for Business Innovation (36 hours)

• Understand core AI concepts and applications across financial services.

• Use AI to improve decision-making, streamline processes and enhance customer experience

• Address ethics, governance and organisational adoption.

• Professionals seeking to better identify and seize opportunities at the intersection of technology and finance.

• Individuals aiming to develop concrete use cases that combine tech and finance for immediate application in their day-to-day professional activities.

• Entrepreneurs already involved in a fintech venture—or actively exploring one—who are looking to access clients, investors, and integrate into Luxembourg’s fintech ecosystem.

• Aspiring professionals looking to break into the fintech industry or transition into related tech-finance sectors.

Upon completion of the programme, participants will receive a certificate jointly issued by HEC Liège, LHoFT and House of Training.
