Professional integration
ESF+ Projects
As part of the strategic partnership between the Public Employment Service (ADEM), the House of Training designs and implements training and coaching programmes designed to facilitate the sustainable professional integration of jobseekers into the Luxembourg labour market.
These programmes are co-financed by Ministry of Labour and the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).
If you are currently registered with ADEM, contact your advisor or formation@adem.etat.lu for more information.
Skills4Job
With the ‘Skills4Job’ programme, the House of Training and the Public Employement Agency (ADEM) are supporting jobseekers in Luxembourg to help them reintegrate sustainably into a constantly changing employment market.
The three courses on offer combine individual coaching with face-to-face and online group training so that each participant can, depending on their needs:
-
(Re)define a short-term career plan in line with their professional profile and the needs of the job market, and identify the need to upskill or reskill;
-
Strengthen cross-disciplinary skills and, thanks to a tailored training plan, develop the technical knowledge needed to successfully reintegrate or retrain for a new career;
-
Optimise their employability by working on their job search strategy, online presence, application and interview preparation.
The House of Training and ADEM plan to support almost 500 jobseekers in the ‘Skills4Job’ programme between 2023 and 2025.
Fit4AgilePM
Project management skills, and more specifically agile methodologies, are now essential and highly prized on the job market.
The Fit4AgilePM programme, developed by the House of Training in collaboration with the Public Employment Service (ADEM), offers 120 jobseekers the unique opportunity to acquire or strengthen their project management skills, in order to make their profile more attractive to employers.
At the end of 5 weeks of training, combining technical instruction and workshops on leadership and team management, participants will be able to obtain certification in the Scrum methodology (PSM-I), thereby enhancing their employability in dynamic and innovative work environments.
Basic Digital Skills
With the digital transformation, accelerated by the health crisis, mastery of basic digital skills has become essential for professional integration or reintegration in many sectors.
The Basic Digital Skills programme, offered by the House of Training and the Lifelong Learning Centre in partnership with the Public Employment Service (ADEM), trains 144 jobseekers in these essential skills. The course aims to demystify the use of computers, introduce participants to office automation tools and teach them to master online services and information.
It is designed to make participants more autonomous in the digital environment, thereby directly improving their employability and facilitating their integration into the labour market.
StartYourCareer
Every year, young jobseekers register with the Public Employment Service (ADEM) to receive support as they enter the job market for the first time following their initial training.
The StartYourCareer programme developed by the House of Training supports 200 young jobseekers (aged 18 to 29) in defining a realistic short-term career plan, understanding the dynamics of the job market, developing their job-seeking strategy and acquiring or strengthening the cross-disciplinary skills sought by employers.
Aware of the diversity of individual needs, StartYourCareer favours personalised coaching, given individually or in small groups, to ensure a tailor-made response to the aspirations and questions of each participant.
Fit4Inclusion
The Fit4Inclusion programme, the result of a partnership between the Public Employment Service (ADEM), the House of Training and the National Institute for Sustainable Development and CSR (INDR), responds to the challenges faced by people with disabled employee status or who are looking for work following professional redeployment.
From 2025, Fit4Inclusion offers tailor-made support for 80 jobseekers, through personalised coaching, training and integration workshops. The programme also includes awareness-raising, networking and recruitment initiatives aimed at businesses to promote recruitment of the participants of this programme.
