Description
Introduction
This module marks the starting point of the process of structuring and professionalising the procurement function within the organisation. It enables participants to understand the strategic and operational challenges associated with procurement. Participants will learn to analyse, prioritise and formalise internal requirements. The approach combines concrete methods, tools, and best practices.
More than a technical training, this module offers a cross-functional perspective that promotes better collaboration with stakeholders and suppliers.
This module is part of the programme Building Procurement Excellence: A 5-Step Development Framework.
Objectives
Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to:
Understand the strategic role of the procurement function and its evolution in the value chain.
Analyse and structure spend to identify priorities.
Define clear and actionable requirements.
Master the tools for monitoring, prioritisation and decision-making.
Improve the effectiveness of procurement actions and performance monitoring.
