Introduction
Luxembourg holds a strategic position on the global investment fund stage, supported by a robust legal framework and a favourable regulatory architecture. To navigate this environment effectively, it is essential to understand the key players involved in the management and administration of undertakings for collective investment (UCIs), as well as the legal foundations governing their activities.
This programme offers a clear and accessible overview of the Luxembourg UCI sector, identifying the roles, responsibilities, and interactions of the various stakeholders (management company, depositary, asset manager, CSSF, etc.). It also outlines the key elements of the applicable legal framework, including the main laws and regulations governing the operation of these structures.
