Description
Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) have transformed the AI field both in its applicability to problems and its accessibility to the wider population.
In this course, we’ll explore what artificial intelligence really is—its capabilities, its limitations, and the impact it has on our world. We’ll take a brief look at its historical evolution and discover how large language models (LLMs) are making AI more accessible and useful than ever before.
Objectives
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
Understand what AI is and how it developed since the middle of the 20th century
Understand what LLMs and GenAI are and why they make AI more applicable and accessible
Understand the limitations and drawbacks of AI
Understand the potential of AI, which tasks it can replace or aid with, and which tasks are beyond its reach
Obtain basic AI fluency
Target audience
This introductory course is intended for a broad audience interested in deepening their understanding of contemporary AI technologies.
