Do you often find yourself ruminating, regretting, or worrying about things beyond your control?

This training helps you understand why letting go can be difficult — and guides you, step by step, using proven and practical tools, toward greater emotional freedom and clarity.

Through a variety of hands-on exercises — both therapeutic and enjoyable (meditation, perception work, focusing, role-playing, etc.) — you’ll learn to shift perspective, release unnecessary thoughts and emotions, and reconnect with the present moment.

At the end of the journey, you'll feel more serene, confident, and emotionally agile. So… when will you choose to let go?

Objectives

At the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Become observers of their inner life and gain perspective

  • Transform and detach from painful thoughts and emotions

  • Facilitate acceptance of things that cannot be changed

  • Live more in the present moment and act more efficiently


Programme

Understanding letting go

  • The problem: holding onto negative thoughts about events beyond control and suffering unnecessarily as a result

  • The solution: accepting what we cannot change

  • The path: gaining perspective through the observer position

Techniques for transforming painful thoughts

  • Identify the cognitive distortions that interfere with your thoughts (false obligations, personalization, blame…)

  • Question the foundations of negative thoughts with reframing

  • Rebuild your interpretations and expectations in a both positive and realistic way

Letting go by accepting thoughts and emotions

  • Apply defusion techniques to neutralize painful thoughts

  • Mindfulness meditation: free yourself from the hold of negative emotions (the “off” switch)

Act efficiently in the present moment

  • Increase awareness of self and environment here and now

  • Focus on what you can control

Target Audience

Anyone who wants to accept what they cannot change and free themselves from the influence of unnecessary negative thoughts on their life

Learning Methodology
  • Practical exercises and role-plays inspired by real-life workplace situations

  • Interactive exchanges between participants and the trainer to encourage reflection and learning

  • Written preparation to define desired behavioural changes

  • Development of a personalised action plan at the end of the training
